Studio S clay body - formulated Cone 8-10 Stoneware, developed for multipal studio use. Studio S formulates and mixes all of its clays and calculates its glazes. Our standard clay mix is a base for all our bodies. It was formulated to satisfy all clay body needs by making minor adjustment; high fire stoneware, raku, pitfire and architectural terra cotta.

Slight adjustments of these materials allow them to work well for our studio needs. An increase of coarse grog gave us a flexable range in temperature for T.C. A150. This clay mix has proven to be the best avalable I could find for throwing extra large trays.
